FAQs
What do your programs include?
Our programs typically include a power point presentation (if facilities allow) with photos, easy to understand verbiage, and videos where possible. We also will bring a pelt and skull (when possible) of the species we are discussing. There's almost 1000 species that call Colorado home though, so we don't quite have everything. We believe in hands on learning so attendees to the program are allowed to carefully handle the pelts and bones.
Do you have any live animal ambassadors?
Yes we do. We have several snakes including bullsnakes and a western hognose snake for our reptile programs. We also have some tarantulas and a toad. As we grow we will be expanding our animal ambassador program.
Can we interact with the animal ambassadors?
Yes! Our small animal ambassadors are handleable and a Wild Lives presenter will hold them while attendees get a closer look. Attendees are welcome to pet our reptile ambassadors as long as hand sanitizer is used after interacting.
Can you discuss multiple species per program?
Absolutely! We customize our programs to fit your needs.
Do you do birthday parties?
We can bring our small animal ambassadors to birthday parties. This includes our reptiles and arachnids.
Do you have wolves or wolfdogs that can attend programs?
At this time we are not offering programs with our wolfdogs. If you are interested in a program with a live wolfdog present, please check out wolfeducation.org and contact our friends there!
